When I first met you, I didn’t know how I’d first fall for your laugh and later for your sense of humor. I didn’t know how eventually we’d start skipping sleep just to listen to each other breathe. I didn’t know how we’d get to know one another so well it would take just a shared look to read your mind. I didn’t know how your voice would become the best remedy to my sadness. When I first met you, I didn’t know how lucky I’d just become. I have never believed in love at first sight that we were able to give our hearts away upon one view or that after just one glance we are in love but I do believe that the second I saw your eyes, I love them. And the moment I saw your smile, I loved it. And the instant I heard you laugh, I fell in love with the sound. I have never believed in love at first sight, but I do believe that after one glance in your direction I have belonged to you.. completely.
Happy May everyone! I hope all the mothers out there had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend. ♥ Today I’m bringing to you a pose I just adore from Something New. This pose can be found at this current round of The Thrift Shop. Also what makes this post so special is because I wanted to thank Ally & Jake for making me their Blogger of the Month at Something New. This is one of the things I love about this store and its owners. They not only just put out pose after pose for us to create beautiful pictures with, but they also put in the time to go through the photos and choose a blogger of the month every month. Their reasons for choosing someone always varies, but their love they show their bloggers is always the same. Which I find such a wonderful thing when it comes to store owners in Second Life. My favorite part about this is our photo is hung up in their store under a blogger of the month banner and as I’ve always said, “Its the little things that matter the most.” Like.. little pictures hanging in the store lol. Not a lot of stores do this for their bloggers and I think that’s what sets them apart from so many other store owners in Second Life. The appreciation they show us as well as we show them for allowing us to blog such wonderful poses. I’ve loved Ally for years now and honestly I believe shes one of the best people in Second Life anyone could ever have the chance of meeting. Shes so down to earth, loving, and just a genuine person all around. If you ever get the chance to meet her consider yourself lucky and if you get the chance to call her your friend, your are truly blessed. Shes just absolutely a beautiful woman with a heart of gold and I know my Second Life would be so incomplete without her. Thank you again to you both, Ally & Jake for allowing me to be picked as your blogger of the month. You have no clue how much it means to me and how much I truly appreciate it, you, and everything you do for all us bloggers. Your love and support doesn’t go unnoticed. You’re both just so wonderful. Thank you again. ♥
They didn’t have a “normal” relationship. They teased each other. They play hit each other. They called each other names, but underneath that anyone could see how much they cared, because if you listened closely to every joking “Shut up!” there was an “I love you” inside it.
I don’t pretend to know what love is for everyone, but I can tell you what it is for me; love is knowing all about someone, and still wanting to be with them more than any other person. Love is trusting them enough to tell them everything about yourself, including the things you might be ashamed of. Love is feeling comfortable and safe with someone, but still getting weak knees when they walk into a room and smile at you.
When I look in your eyes, I don’t want to look away. I smile at every word that comes out of your mouth and when you smile back, I melt. Sometimes I wonder what I would do without you, not understanding how I got by before. You wrap your hands around my waist and the whole world disappears. When our hands touch, it sends shivers up my spine, and when you lean in and your lips brush mine I never want to let you go.
First off, I can NOT take credit for this photo. This photo was taken and edited by the lovely Miss Rayne. (Rayn3669 Resident) I had seen a rl photo and I knew I wanted to recreate it, but I just needed some help lol. I asked Miss Ally to see if she thought she could help us with the pose… and she did an amazing job. If you want a custom pose.. there’s no one else I would ever go to. Then I contacted Rayne to see if she could take the photo for us. Let me just say she went above and beyond with it. It turned out even more amazing than I even had pictured in my head. First off we couldn’t find a good hat that said “Queen” & “King” so we just used normal hats and she thought up a way to incorporate those words on them. It was even more perfect than I thought it would be. Shes so talented when it comes to photos so if you’re looking for a pretty picture I suggest looking her up in world. You will thank me later. Thank you again to both Ally & Rayne for helping me with this pose/picture, because without them it would not have been able to happen and go above and beyond my expectations. I love you both to bits! ♥♥
You can purchase this pose in world too. Ally is selling it at her store, Something New Props & Poses. She even let me name it so it made me super happy! The pose is called “Her One, His Only” which is mine and Justices’ tags in SL. I thought it was very fitting. 🙂
If anyone was wondering what RL photo I took for the inspiration of this pose.. here it is. Ally did a wonderful job. Of course its not EXACT because sometimes in SL you just can’t make the poses the same because of how positioning the body in SL is different than RL, but she did an amazing job and I was just so excited and in love with it. And I also showed the photo to Rayne and she took inspiration from it for the final product on the picture. Its just… more than Id ever hoped for. I honestly cant thank them enough.
Because when someone means the world to you, you don’t simply give up because it’s too hard. It was always about how we deal with the negatives, and not how we enjoy the positives. All the promises that I’ve made about who I am and what you are to me are meaningless when I choose to take the easy way out. That’s why I’m still here and as long as you’re still in the ring fighting, I’ll never tap out.
